-Passionate People Pursuing God's Purpose
Children's Ministry The Children's Ministry of Morningside Baptist Church is committed to serving our children and their families. Our desire is to provide quality, fun experiences for children, that will encourage meaningful relationships with peers, teachers, parents, and especially with God. We invite you and your child to participate in the many programs offered as well as any of the special events. We believe in building strong families. Therefore we want to partner with families in the spiritual growth of all children at MBC. Our Children's Ministry is a fun, safe, character building ministry designed to assist families in training their children to become Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) and Great Commandment (Matthew 22: 37-39) followers of Jesus Christ. We will accomplish our mission:
Below are just some of the opportunities that we offer your children.
Sunday School is an age-graded Bible study time where a central Bible truth is communicated through small and large group activities. Scripture is memorized and the Bible truth is applied to the child's life.
Children's Church is an extended learning session following Sunday School and is provided for 3, 4, and 5 year olds. A scripture based curriculum is used which includes story time and craft time.
is an evangelistic club for boys and girls whose purpose is to reach children with the gospel and train them to serve Him. Club meetings consist of game time, handbook time, and council time.

Parent Involvement
The Children's ministry encourages parents to take an active role in the Christian education of their child. We would like to invite you to prayerfully consider how you might participate in the spiritual growth of the children that attend Morningside Baptist. Volunteer positions are available in all of the ministries listed above. For more information or to volunteer, please contact the church.
